Elaine Dai is the founder of InspiraLaw®. For more than a decade, Ms. Dai has advised clients throughout California with a focus on business law and nonprofit organizations. She previously worked as a corporate and real estate attorney at Morgan Lewis, an international law firm, before launching a music performance and teaching studio in West Los Angeles.
Ms. Dai holds a law degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she had the honor of serving as editor-in-chief for the UBC Law Review in its 50th anniversary year. In pursuing her passion for the arts in addition to law, she has a master’s degree in music education from Boston University and bachelors’ degrees in history and English literature from UBC and in piano performance and pedagogy from Mount St. Mary’s College (Los Angeles). Ms. Dai also participated in an intensive executive leadership training program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Ms. Dai has served on the board of directors for Music in the Schools Foundation, Westside Music Foundation, and The Children’s Pre-School Center, and as a program coordinator for MusicLink Foundation. She also served on a School Site Council for Palo Alto Unified School District and is currently on the student assessment report committee.
