About Ilona Antonyan

Attorney Ilona Antonyan is a litigation trial attorney. She is also a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Specialization. Ms. Antonyan was the youngest person in California to become a Certified Family Law Specialist after meeting the vigorous requirements in only five years. She holds a US patent for an invention. Mrs. Antonyan possesses both Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. She is also a licensed Real Estate Broker.

She was selected as one of the 2011 San Diego Top Young Attorneys by the San Diego Daily Transcript. Over the last eight years, she litigated family law, malpractice, auto accident, trade libel, breach of contract, and defamation cases. Ms. Antonyan serves as the Director on the San Diego County Bar Board of Directors.

She is also on the SDCBA Certified Family Law Specialist Committee. Ms. Antonyan is a member of (ACFLS) Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, (CASD) Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, San Diego County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.

Ms. Antonyan is trilingual, fluent in Russian and Spanish. She immigrated to United States as an Armenian refugee in 1992. In 2.5 years, she graduated from Case Western University with honors in two majors and two minors. She holds a dual B.A. degree in Psychology and Political Science, with Philosophy and Spanish as minors. She finished law school in just two years and immediately passed the California Bar Exam. She started her firm right after law school. Besides work she enjoys dancing, reading self-improvement and business literature, running, and traveling. Her philosophy on life and work mirrors Dalai Lama’s message “live one day at the time and make it a masterpiece.” Also “only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go” by T.S. Elliot.
